思匯政策研究所於2019年10月18日舉行的商界與氣候變化挑戰研討會的支持組織

除了讓國際氣候變化專門委員會（IPCC）的科學家分享《氣候變化與陸地及海洋和冰凍圈在氣候變化的特別報告》中的最新發現外，香港天文台台長岑智明，在研討會“Business and the Climate Change Challenge”上透露，政府已經展開一連串顧問研究，審視現時樓宇和基建的防禦力，制定措施，應對越趨增強的風力、風暴潮和海浪等。

研討會由匯豐銀行和香港科技大學合辦，思匯政策研究所、商界環保協會及香港綠色金融協會聯合支持。
