Stepping into its 4th edition, ReThink HK is the city’s ambitious business event for sustainable development, a large-scale, cross-sector platform that champions ESG transformation and showcases game-changing innovation.

We seek to inspire ambitious target setting, induce behavior change, and mobilise collective action towards a carbon-neutral Hong Kong by 2050. We are proud to announce that we are a Content Partner of Rethink HK to be hosted on 14 -15 September 2023 at HKCEC! “HK2050isNow Energy & Mobility Summit” will be held on Day 1. This summit is the perfect platform to learn about low carbon transition strategies and technologies driving Hong Kong’s decarbonisation efforts. It will explore trends, innovations, and technologies in the low carbon energy and mobility space, as well as offer networking opportunities with industry experts and thought leaders via keynote and panel sessions.

Opening Address and Report Launch: HK2050isNow Energy & Mobility Summit

We are thrilled to have Mr Lawrence Iu, our Executive Director, to deliver the opening address at the summit. We will also have the privilege of witnessing the launch of new report by Mr Bon Cheung, our Research Analyst. The report aims to achieve two important objectives: firstly, to provide a clearer understanding of the concept and application of transition finance, and secondly, to contextualise this concept within the Greater Bay Area by assessing the decarbonisation options and strategies in the energy, buildings, and road transport sectors.

Keep Hong Kong Flying Sustainably – Why Does it Matter to You?

Do you know that over 70 million passengers travelled by air to or from Hong Kong each year pre-pandemic? And local airlines in Hong Kong emitted more than 20 million tonnes of carbon dioxide per year, equivalent to a half of the Hong Kong’s local carbon emissions (41 million tonnes). The question of how to make flying in Hong Kong more sustainable becomes a challenging issue, and at the same time, new approaches are emerging from the perspectives of airlines, businesses, and individuals.
