Lam Chiu Ying

Lam Chiu Ying is a meteorologist, naturalist, and conservationist. He served the Hong Kong Observatory for 35 years and retired as its Director. For his contributions to international meteorology and active promotion for climate change actions, he was elected Honorary Fellow of the Royal Meteorological Society and of the Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management. He is a veteran bird-watcher and Honorary President of the Hong Kong Bird Watching Society. Passionate about conserving nature in tandem with culture, he writes actively on the internet and currently serves as chairman of the Hong Kong Countryside Foundation.

Tracy Wong Harris

Tracy Wong Harris is the Managing Director, Head of Sustainable Finance for Asia at Standard Chartered Bank, focusing on the Bank’s sustainable finance strategy, by developing new products and solutions, further incorporating ESG considerations into banking decisions, and identifying sustainable finance opportunities for clients. Tracy is also the Vice President and Deputy Secretary General of Hong Kong Green Finance Association (HKGFA), the Senior Advisor to the Green Building Project of HK2050isNow, and an appointed member of the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) Climate Change Technical Expert Group (TEG).

Prior to joining Standard Chartered, Tracy had been driving the green and sustainable finance development in Hong Kong and had over 16 years of financial markets experiences across various fixed income and complex structured products in JPMorgan, Mizuho International, Barclays Capital and BNP Paribas based in London and Hong Kong.

Tracy received her MSc and BA in International Finance and Capital Markets in the United Kingdom, graduated from the Oxford Said Business School in Social Finance and a certified member of Hong Kong Treasury Markets Association (HKTMA).

Board member of AIDS Concern, previously served as Board member of the Hong Kong LGBT+ Interbank, founder of the JPM PRIDE HK network and received JPMorgan Employee Appreciation Award in 2015.

Bon Cheung

Bon Cheung is a Research Analyst of Civic Exchange, with the focus of green and sustainable finance market development. He has obtained several professional designations, such as the Green and Sustainable Finance Professional ™ that entitled by the Chartered Banker Institute (CBI). Moreover, Bon has engaged and published plenty of impactful academic research related to green finance development in GBA. Apart from academic development, Bon has prior work exposure in the sustainability field through different internship roles, which are mostly related to green finance and GBA development. He has also been invited to be panellist and guest lecturer for talks and lectures related to green and sustainable finance.

Bon holds a BSc in Environmental Management and Technology in The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. (Officialy obtain the degree on July).

Harriet Tsang

Harriet Tsang is a Research Analyst at Civic Exchange focused on Civic Exchange’s legal framework project to implement net-zero targets in Hong Kong, handling the research on China’s policy implementation and Hong Kong’s judiciary review process. She has also been working with the team to consolidate mobility decarbonisation pathways and has assisted with social media and outreach operations. Harriet brings an extensive work experience from the banking sector and has previously interned at IHG to integrate sustainable practices into their proceedings.

Harriet holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Classical Civilisation from the University of Kent and a Graduate Diploma in Law from the University of Law.

Ivy Yeung

Ivy Yeung is the operation manager of Civic Exchange and is responsible for assisting the daily operations of the organisation, including human resources, office administration and account aspects. She also supports translating articles from English to Chinese, plans and produce engaging content to reach more audiences. Ms Yeung previously worked in a multinational corporation, where she was given the responsibility for coordinating, communicating and handling administrative tasks.

Ms Yeung holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Chinese Language and Literature with a minor in Cultural Studies from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Kitty Tam

Kitty Tam is the Programme Lead of Hong Kong 2050 is Now. In her role, she aims to influence and encourage societies to adopt rapid, deep, and sustained climate actions, while promoting a nature-positive world. Having a diverse educational background in geography, business management, and environmental governance, Kitty has acquired a comprehensive understanding of the intricate connections between human activities and the natural world. With her previous experience at WWF-Hong Kong, Kitty played a key role in driving policy change to address pressing environmental challenges.

Lawrence Iu

Lawrence Iu is a Executive Director at Civic Exchange and the Lead for HK2050isNow, where he heads research and engagement projects with a focus on climate change modelling and carbon neutrality policy issues.

Lawrence previously worked in a multinational corporation and a higher education institution, where he coordinated environmental sustainability and occupational health & safety projects across Asia Pacific and led emerging technology management, circular economy and green chemistry research. He was awarded two research grants for enhancing process hazard assessment.

Lawrence holds a Master of Philosophy in Environmental Engineering, a Master of Science in Environmental Science and Management and a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical and Bioproduct Engineering from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.

Lionel Mok

Lionel Mok is the Sustainable Finance Programme Lead for Civic Exchange. He is responsible for managing the organisation’s efforts to conduct research and engage with stakeholders on the integration of sustainability considerations into financial market practices. Lionel has previously worked for Climate Bonds Initiative and the International Finance Corporation.

Wing Tsang

Wing Tsang is a Research Analyst at Civic Exchange with a focus on leveraging finance to decarbonize Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area.  Wing has been working on consolidating taxonomical developments associated with transition finance and evaluating sectoral transition pathways eligible to net zero.  She previously interned at ADM Capital Foundation conducting qualitative research and assisting digital marketing work on the “Eat Without Waste” initiative and its wildlife programme.

Wing holds a BSc in Sociology and Politics of Science from University College London.
